No road between the house and the sea

A pedestrian promenade runs in front of the house, no traffic, no fence, just stone paving, the low wall, and the white pebbles of Rogoznica’s main beach. The bay is protected, the water is clear, and the air carries the smell of pine from the headlands.

The terrace

Built for long, slow lunches

A stone-paved terrace runs the length of the house. A long dining table seats up to twelve. Twin parasols, sun loungers with grey and navy cushions, two date palms framing the view straight onto the bay.

The terrace is the centre of life here, breakfast, espresso, lunch out of the sun, sundowners with the islands turning gold across the water.

The whirlpool jacuzzi

Heated, year-round, above the sea

A private whirlpool jacuzzi above the terrace, west-facing, heated all year. Two separate air bubble functions, used by guests on the November mornings as readily as the August evenings.

The jacuzzi looks straight across the bay to the village of Rogoznica. At sunset, the islands turn brass and the lights come on across the water.

Fireplace, induction, fridge

A built-in masonry fireplace with chimney, a stone counter with sink, an induction cooktop, and louvred cabinets concealing a Bosch outdoor fridge. There is also an outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a few steps from the beach.

Most guests cook outside more than they cook inside. The fishmonger is a five-minute walk; the fish market is on the harbour.

The beach lounges

Two lounges, exclusively yours

Two private beach lounges, set on the promenade-side terrace, reserved exclusively for guests of The Beachhouse. Towels and cushions provided. Direct steps down to the pebbles.

On the beach itself, jet ski rental and an inflatable water park for children open through the summer months. A handful of casual day restaurants run the length of the bay, serving grilled fish and Dalmatian platters straight from the water.
